Fresh From the Field: Life Center Updates
These stories just came in—real moments of hope, healing,and transformation made possible by your support.
This past Christmas, Life Centers across Uganda, Kenya, Peru, India, Sri Lanka, and Thailand were filled with celebration as 4,058 children gathered to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Through Love Packs, children received thoughtful gifts such as blankets, clothing, and meaningful items that met practical needs while reminding them they are loved and cared for.
Children sang, prayed, shared meals, and heard the story of Jesus’ birth through their Life Centers and local churches. These celebrations built on the Gospel centered discipleship that happens each week, offering children a joyful reminder of the hope found in Christ.
Because of faithful sponsors and donors, thousands of children experienced both tangible care and eternal truth. Scroll down to view photo galleries from each country and see the joy of these celebrations firsthand.
Through sponsorship and discipleship, a classroom in Florida and a child across the world are connected by prayer, encouragement, and hope. In a Spanish classroom at Calvary Christian School, students are learning not only language, but what it looks like to live out their faith.
Through their Spanish Honor Society, students chose to sponsor a child named Christian Simao. Letters, cards, and photos were sent, and when Simao received them, he proudly hung them on the wall of his bedroom, a reminder that he is known, valued, and prayed for.
For the students, sponsorship has become more than a lesson. It is a real example of faith in action that continues to grow beyond borders. [LEARN MORE]
Kency and Kevin’s stories have been shaped through the steady discipleship of the Life Center. During difficult seasons for their families, both children encountered God’s Word, prayer, and consistent mentoring that helped their faith grow.
Through Life Center teaching, Kency surrendered her life to Jesus and later chose baptism as a public declaration of her faith. Today, she desires to serve God and is beginning to help with children’s ministry at her church.
Kevin’s faith also became personal through Life Center discipleship. After surrendering his life to Jesus and being baptized, he now attends church regularly, serves on the media team, and shares his testimony with other children. [VIEW A SPIRITUAL IMPACT REEL]
A Heartfelt Sponsor Visit with HL & Debby Goodwin
When HL and Debby Goodwin from Cross Pointe Community Church visited their sponsored child, Ezra Kigaye, they were welcomed with songs, dancing, and deep gratitude from his family and community. During the visit, Ezra shared about his schooling and dreams, and his family expressed heartfelt thanks for the education, care, and spiritual support made possible through sponsorship.
As they prayed together and shared encouragement, the connection grew even stronger. This heartfelt visit was a powerful reminder that sponsorship is more than financial support. It is family in Christ.
