Her mother cares for elderly people and sells food on the street to help support their household.

Through the La Pascana Life Center, Esperanza is learning God’s Word and growing in kindness, respect, and faith. Recently, she came to a medical outreach carrying foot pain that had made walking uncomfortable.

During her visit, doctors were able to look beyond the pain itself and identify some of the causes: flat feet that were affecting her posture, along with four painful ingrown toenails.

Because of the outreach, Esperanza received podiatry care, physiotherapy, and medical guidance—care that helped address both her immediate pain and her long-term health.

“Now I feel relieved and grateful,” she shared, “because I received the care I needed.”
