That’s where our Medical Outreach efforts come in. Through these essential events, we provide life-saving services to children and families in our programs—treating infections, offering dental care, physiotherapy, and even giving basic physicals and haircuts. These outreach efforts meet the immediate needs of those who would otherwise go without care, and they serve as a lifeline for many who face barriers to accessing healthcare in their communities. Our Medical Outreach events are more than just a chance to treat physical ailments—they are a way to show families they are seen, loved, and valued.
For many children, these outreaches provide their only opportunity for a check-up and early treatment, preventing minor issues from becoming serious health problems. A Story from Peru: Overcoming Barriers to Healthcare
Earlier this year, we held a vital Medical Outreach in Peru, providing essential healthcare services to 116 individuals, including 76 children and 40 adults from our Life Centers. In a country where access to basic medical care is often out of reach due to long waiting times and limited resources, this outreach offered much-needed treatment for infections, dental care, physiotherapy, haircuts, and fungal infections.
Thanks to our Medical Outreach fund, we were able to serve these families, bringing hope, healing, and medical attention to those in need. Your support enables us to continue expanding these life-changing services, with future Medical Outreach events planned in Kenya, Uganda, Peru, and India.
