Thiago, a cheerful 10-year-old from Peru, lives with his mother, Katherine, and his baby brother, Fabio. After his father abandoned the family, his mother now works long days selling desserts on the streets to provide for her boys. Life is challenging, but Thiago’s bright spirit shines, especially at school and at his Life Center.
When Thiago received his new school supplies, his face lit up with excitement. His mother could only afford a few items, so having a full set of notebooks, pencils, and markers felt like a blessing. The markers were his favorite, perfect for drawing and bringing color to his schoolwork. These supplies also help him continue improving his reading, something he struggled with before receiving his own Bible at the Life Center.
Every Saturday, Thiago loves learning about God, reading his Bible, and spending time with friends and his teacher, Luperta. He recently accepted Jesus into his heart, and he now prays for his family every day. “I am thankful for all the blessings I received thanks to God and CW,” he shared.
